Family of Charles Heard 1792 - 1836
Wheelwright of Mole Hill Green, Takeley, Essex
Charles Heard, my ancestor, was the Wheelwright in Mole Hill Green. His
father, Thomas Heard, was the Wheelwright in nearby Henham and he also
owned Heards
Farm in Mole Hill Green.
After Charles' death in 1836, his wife Mary then his son William
continued as the Wheelwright in Mole Hill Green until the 1880s.
Another son, Thomas, my gt gt granfather, lived in Woodgates End
Broxted and finally Takeley Street until his death in 1913.
Some of the other Takeley families mentioned are - Marshall, Stock,
Staines, Felsted and Baker
